Smiling on blank screen.. So difficult to explain
Doing something really silly and worrying about it later.. Such a pain
Things working out in end (even silly ones).. Such a relief
Keeping quiet about a surprise.. So tough
Dreaming about impossible, and then having to wake up.. So not fair
Wishing you could’ve been somewhere else right now.. Sad but hoping for best…

There’s so much I want to say, but I cannot.
For you, my friend, would not understand.
Yes, Love and Friendship we share is unconditional.
But I’m afraid Judgment will creep in. I’m afraid of not being able to look in your eyes. I’m even more afraid of that look in your eyes.
So I shall smile and keep quiet. And hope one day you’ll know the truth and understand. And you’ll forgive me for being a coward.
